For this series, Google chose to create a timeline delineating the advances of computers throughout history. HAL9000 was a ficticious computer in the Stanley Kubrick film 2001 a Space Oddyssey, while the Connection machine was the first multi-core processor. The signs are placed outside of important rooms in the office. They were created in 2005 using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Quark XPress.

For this series, Google chose to create a timeline delineating the advances of computers throughout history. Symbolics computers were the first "work stations" and ran on the Lisp programing language. Turing Machine were theoretical devices that helped define the concept of computation. The signs are placed outside of important rooms in the office. They were created in 2005 using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Quark XPress.

TGI Friday's Facade Architectural Renderings
